Winter Jubilee Warm Up To Kick Off Titletown’s Winter Season

November 26, 2019

As the holiday season is in nearly full swing, Titletown is gearing up to celebrate with the free Winter Jubilee Warm Up on Friday, Nov. 29, and Saturday, Nov. 30.
With activities for all ages to get into the holiday spirit, the festivities will kick off this year’s Titletown Winter Jubilee, presented by Mad City Windows & Baths and Performa, the series of events and programming that will be offered at Titletown all winter long.

The Winter Jubilee Warm Up will begin at 3 p.m. on Friday, when the ice skating rink opens. Throughout the event, multiple fire pits will be lit on the Plaza and a horse-drawn carriage will be giving rides around the football field. Skaters can hit the ice with Stevie the Pointer, Bernie Brewer and Rally the Red Hawk from 3 to 4 p.m., 4 to 5 p.m., and 5 to 6 p.m., respectively, and can visit with Santa’s reindeer from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Also on Friday, the Winter Jubilee Light Show will debut at 6 p.m. The seven-minute show will be on display every 30 minutes, from 6 to 9 p.m., most Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights in December. The family-friendly presentation is projected onto Lambeau Field’s outer west façade, and will feature a new and dazzling blend of holiday-themed lights and animation, music, special effects and fireworks. View a full list of show dates and times at titletown.com/events/calendar/winter-jubilee-light-show.

The fun will get underway again on Saturday at 10 a.m., with the skating rink opening, as well as a “Holiday Hip Hop” dance class. Later in the day, visitors and community members can take part in a “Kick-snow-ball Tournament,” “Yuletide Yoga,” as well as more visits with Santa’s reindeer and ice skating with mascots Ace, Bruiser, Clash and Norby. Craft enthusiasts can enjoy cocoa + coaster decorating in Rockwood Terrace from 3 to 5 p.m. or while supplies last. Additional fire pits will be lit up again to keep everyone warm and toasty all evening.

Registration is encouraged for the free fitness classes and the Kick-snow-ball Tournament, as space is limited. View the full schedule of Winter Jubilee Warm Up activities at titletown.com/events/calendar/winter-jubilee-warm-up.

Throughout December, community members and visitors are invited to participate in the holiday fun at Titletown with:
• Breakfast With Santa, Cocoa with Santa and Santa’s Lodge. Reservations are required for Breakfast and Cocoa on titletown.com; visits with Santa at Santa’s Lodge are open to the public.
• Ice skating theme nights, including special giveaways and discounts for those dressed up, as well as fun activities off the ice, including crafts and treats.
• Holiday-themed Crafts + Cocktails events
• Local choirs singing rink-side for “Sounds of the Season”
• Titletown Gameday Live presented by Pella Windows & Doors of Wisconsin will continue for the final two home games of the regular season, featuring “Drinks on Ice” served rink-side from an ice bar on Saturday, Dec. 7 and Dec. 14, and live ice carving performances on Sunday, Dec. 8 and Sunday, Dec. 15.

The holiday events will culminate in Titletown’s outdoor New Year’s Eve celebration – TT NYE, presented by Pieper Electric – with extended tubing and skating hours, special activities for all ages and a midnight countdown leading up to the new year.

Titletown’s Winter Jubilee will last beyond the holiday season, with programming and events planned through February. New events, “Light Up Titletown” and “Artic Blast: An Ice + Music Festival” will take place in January and February, and the popular “Titletown Winter Games” presented by U.S. Venture will return on Feb. 15-16. Programming throughout the winter beginning in January will include yoga and fitness classes – part of Get Fit presented by Humana – as well as skate lessons, “Winter Unplugged” live music, Fireside Fridays, public art installations and special ice skating and tubing theme nights.

Ariens Hill, the tubing hill adjacent to the ice skating rink, will open in the coming weeks, as soon as weather conditions are favorable for making snow.

All activities are subject to change depending on weather.
