Titletown to Celebrate New Years With ‘TT NYE Presented by Kimberly-Clark’ set for Dec. 31

December 16, 2020

Extended ice skating and tubing hours, midnight countdown and fireworks to highlight New Year’s Eve event with enhanced COVID-19 protocols in place.
Titletown is set to host its annual outdoor New Year’s Eve celebration – TT NYE presented by Kimberly-Clark – with extended tubing and skating hours, themed ice sculptures, live entertainment and a midnight countdown with fireworks to ring in 2021.

The free, all-outdoor event will take place on Thursday, Dec. 31, from noon to 12:30 a.m., with family-friendly opportunities to enjoy the beginning of a new year. Several adjustments have been made to help keep guests safe in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, including requiring masks throughout the event. Fire pits and heating lamps also will be placed throughout the park to keep visitors warm while outdoors.

Extended tubing and skating hours will take place from noon to midnight and guests are reminded to fill out their waivers online in advance. Those planning to skate or take part in other activities during their visit to Titletown should visit titletown.com/events/recreation/know-before-you-snow to make sure they are prepared before arrival.

Live outdoor musical entertainment will be hosted by WIXX, with sets from 6 to 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., and ice sculptures will be situated throughout Titletown, with a special scavenger hunt activity to encourage guests to find all of the pieces.

A midnight countdown will be projected onto the side of Lambeau Field, with an “early-bird” countdown at 9 p.m., and fireworks following both the 9 p.m. and the midnight countdowns. Free New Year’s favors will also be provided, and food and beverage will be available for purchase throughout the event.

Community members who would feel more comfortable celebrating from their vehicles can still be a part of the countdown and fireworks from Lots 5 and 6 at Lambeau Field. Titletown is also working with local nonprofit organizations to distribute several hundred TT NYE at Home kits to local families that will include festive New Year’s favors and winter essentials.

Ariens Hill, the tubing hill adjacent to the skating rink, will open in the weeks ahead, as soon as weather conditions are favorable for making snow.

Visitors should note that Titletown has enhanced its COVID-19 protocols to help guests and visitors stay safe. To adjust to the ongoing pandemic and help limit the spread of COVID-19, masks are now mandatory for every person over the age of 2 at Titletown and must be worn at all times throughout the park unless actively eating or drinking, including while skating and tubing this winter.

Other new procedures aimed at limiting spread of the virus include reduced ice rink capacity to maintain physical distancing, frequent sanitation of rental skates and tubing equipment, and no lockable storage lockers available this season.

Guests are also reminded that Titletown is now cashless, with credit/debit cards and Titletown gift cards the only forms of payment accepted. A free, cash-to-card conversion station is available inside 46 Below for convenience. Season passes are now available in person at Admissions and require a one-time waiver and one-time payment for each pass-holder.
