Inaugural Event Offers Adult Version Of Classic Pinewood Derby Races
The battle for bragging rights is on at the Titletown Dad’s Derby presented by HobbyTown on Saturday, June 15. The inaugural event offers adults the opportunity to relive their glory days of participating in the classic Pinewood Derby Races. Join the fun from 3 to 6 p.m. at Titletown, with live music and the beer garden offering both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
How Much Does it Cost to Race?
The race is free to enter, but registration is required to participate and space in the bracket-style tournament is limited. Check in begins at 3 p.m., and the HobbyTown Garage will be open with tools for measuring and weighing the cars as well as final touch ups. The deadline to submit race-ready cars to the judges for official review and entry is 4 p.m. Read the official rules to ensure your car meets the requirements.
When Does the Race Start?
Racing will begin at 4:15 p.m. Titletown guests will each have the opportunity to vote for their favorites, with the winner receiving a Titletown prize package.
