Complimentary tubing available for visitors to Titletown.
Back for another year, thrilling tube rides down Ariens Hill in Titletown will be completely free for all guests, community members, kids and kids-at-heart for Free Tubing Day on Tuesday, Feb. 4, compliments of AriensCo.
Tubing at Ariens Hill is open from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays.
“Come on out and play in the snow at Ariens Hill. The location can’t be beat and the tubing is on us,” said AriensCo. Chairman and CEO Dan Ariens. “We hope to see the whole community enjoying the snow and making family memories at Titletown.”
All guests must sign a waiver to tube at Titletown. Any guest 13 years and younger must have a parent present at Titletown’s Admissions building, located adjacent to Ariens Hill, to sign a waiver before they are able to participate. Guests from ages 14 to 17 may provide a completed waiver signed by a parent or guardian, or they may have a parent or guardian present at Admissions to sign a waiver. Waivers are available online at titletown.com/events/recreation/tubing.
Tube riders can hand in their waivers and obtain a complimentary tubing pass in Titletown’s Admissions building. For the safety of all guests, tube riders must be at least 42″ tall and are required to ride in their own tube. Tube riders descend from the top of Ariens Hill – at a height of 46 feet – down the hill, stretching 300 feet from start to finish. While tubes are being returned to the top of Ariens Hill via an automated system, tube riders can climb the stairs to the summit to begin another ride. Hill attendants are present to instruct riders when to proceed down the hill.
